5 Notable Character Appearances in SHE-HULK

Despite the many appearances from characters spanning Marvel’s history, Jennifer Walters wants us to know that She-Hulk is still her show. We’ve seen enough of Jen to say that she’s definitely one of the most relatable and entertaining main characters from Marvel, but today, we want to take the spotlight off of Jen Walters for a moment to explore the flurry of cameos we’ve seen in her show so far. So let's look at five of the most notable characters to make appearances in She-Hulk, including where we last saw them and what their appearance could mean for the MCU going forward.

Marvel

1. Bruce Banner

First is the big man himself, Bruce Banner, AKA The Incredible Hulk. When last we saw him, he had used the Infinity Gauntlet to bring everyone Thanos killed back to life. Well, except Vision. And Gamora. And Black Widow... But most of the people he killed were brought back to life. And in She-Hulk, we see him recovering from the injury he sustained bringing everyone back.

His role in She-Hulk is longer than what most people would consider a cameo, but he certainly didn't overstay his welcome either. In his last appearance on She-Hulk, we see him blasting off in a Sakaaran ship. Could he be off to join Nick Fury and Talos in space? Will he have a role in the upcoming Secret Invasion series? We can't wait to find out!

2. Emil Blonsky

Next we have Emil Blonsky, AKA The Abomination. Emil is far from The Abomination we knew in The Incredible Hulk. Once a soldier whose lust for power turned him into a monster more grotesque than the Hulk, now Emil Blonsky is now a.... cult leader? Those eight soulmates were definitely giving me vibes of season two Klaus in Umbrella Academy. Whatever his true intentions may be, it appears he's committed himself to rehabilitation. Time will tell if his reformation is genuine now that he has been granted parole. Whatever happens, it's been great to see Tim Roth reprise his role.

3. Wong

Then there's the fan-favorite Sorcerer Supreme himself, Wong. We recently saw him fighting to save America Chavez from The Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. While his role in She-Hulk was limited to recapping his cameo from Shang-Chi, he gave us a lot of fun moments in his short lived screen time. One thing's for sure, though: Jen Walters knew we were looking forward to seeing Wong, and she was absolutely right. She called us out, and we love it.

4. The Wrecking Crew

An infamous supervillain team from the comics finally made their live-action debut in episode three. We are talking about The Serpent Society! Nah just kidding, it’s The Wrecking Crew. First appearing in The Defenders #17 in 1974, The Wrecking Crew is a four piece team of supervillains: The Wrecker, Bulldozer, Piledriver, and Thunderball, who all wield construction equipment-themed weapons. A fan favorite appearance of the Wrecking Crew was in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes as one of the most entertaining supervillain teams. In a world with serious superhuman threats like The Masters of Evil and Kang The Conqueror, The Wrecking Crew is just an average Tuesday for The Avengers. But they are oh so much fun to watch!

One defining characteristic of the Wrecking Crew is how wildly overconfident they are fighting heroes way more powerful than them. The Wrecking Crew have battled the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Iron Fist, the Runaways, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and the X-Men, but their main foe is Thor. They always take every fight like they have a winning chance, despite constantly being defeated and getting thrown back into jail, and I feel like that deserves respect. What does their appearance mean for the future of the MCU? It will be exciting to find out.

5. Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stalian, the multi- talented award winning rapper, and actress makes her appearance in the MCU, as herself. We love seeing two powerful and bad-ass women sharing a moment of celebration in that post-credit scene.

There are more characters that we were very excited to see in live-action for the first time, like Augustus Pugliese and Titania. We can’t wait to see who else will show up!

Joseph "Tenjo" Tennenbaum

You might be asking how I came about my current position. Back when I was a Witcher, Sami came to me and asked me to behead a monster for her. Apparently, I misheard her because she actually said, “edit for The DeMonster.” Now here we are!

I went to school for cybersecurity, but my real passions are game design and creative writing. I’m an avid gamer in my spare time and love to play tabletop games, card games, and video games. My favorite genres are turn-based strategy and rich story-driven games.
